Before
Prepare your skin:
For the best results exfoliate the morning of your spray tan. Give extra attention to the driest areas – elbows, knees, hands, feet, and the backs of your ankles. You can wear moisturizer but try to use oil-free products.
What to Wear
Wear loose fitting clothing and avoid tight fitting items such as boots, socks or tights.
After
- Avoid bathing or swimming, and activities that make you sweat heavily for at least 4 hours after tanning.
- Chlorine will break your tan down much faster so we recommend avoiding it entirely if possible.
- Moisturize daily with an oil-free moisturizer
- Avoid body washes that contain harsh soaps, excoliants or oils.
- Avoid using pore strips, bandages and exfoliants (until you are ready for another spray tan!)
- Following the preparation and after-care tips will help extend the life of your spray tan!
